What Type of Travel Experience are You Looking For?
It took me a long time to figure out that there is a difference between travel and vacation, and if everyone on the trip isn’t aligned on what style of trip you are taking, someone’s not going to be enjoying themselves.
Consider these different trip styles before booking your next adventure to make sure you are choosing the right style for everyone in your group.
Adventure Trip
You are looking to see beautiful landmarks, do something active like hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, boating, fishing, etc.
Your suitcase is going to be filled more with outdoor active wear and sneakers than jeans and dresses
Culture Trip
You are looking to go to museums, see a play, eat a nice local meal, see iconic buildings (think Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China), etc.
Your suitcase is mostly casual wear with a couple nicer outfits for dinner or a play
Relaxation Trip
You have beach vibes on your mind. You want to lounge by a pool, hang out at a spa, take a nap, or read a book.
Your suitcase is loungewear and bathing suits all the way. Maybe a dress or two for a nice dinner after a long relaxing day by the pool.
Party Trip
Festivals, concerts and bar hopping are your vibe. You are there to have a good time day and night.
Your suitcase is unpredictable. You are packing for good vibes.
Combo Trip
You are looking for a little bit of everything. One day you want to hike a mountain, the next, a lazy day by the pool, followed by a crazy night out.
Your suitcase might have a little bit of everything.
